FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

An Escape Room is a real-life escape experience based on the Japanese online game, ‘Takagism’. Players are locked inside a themed room, and need to work as a team to solve a series of puzzles, riddles and hints in order to escape within the 60 minute time limit.

We offer a fun and memorable experience to enjoy with your friends, colleagues or family. Our games are very challenging but give you a great sense of achievement and encourage you to work together as a team to solve puzzles.

If you’re looking for a traditional locks, keys and codes room then we would suggest you book at our London Bridge venue where you will find Room 33 and Pharaoh’s Chamber, two of our most popular rooms that follow the classic non-linear format.

You can book for 3-7 players for Pharaoh’s Chamber, Room 33 however can only take 2-6 players due to limited space at the start of the game. The optimum team size for any of our games is 4-5 players.

We can not allow any more players than the maximum numbers stated above in any one room. If you have a larger team you can book both rooms for the same time or book simultaneous time slots. Please email us for more information.

While there is no restriction on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 12, so they may not fully enjoy the game. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our rooms are fairly spacious with high ceilings and we can leave the entry door unlocked if that helps you to feel more comfortable. Pharaoh’s Chamber is one of our larger rooms so may be a good option if you have anyone in your team concerned about the size of the space.

You can book online here: https://www.escaperooms.co.uk/booking  . Once you select an available time slot you will have 20 minutes to complete the payment in order to secure the booking.

Escape Rooms provide live games and once a booking is confirmed we can not accept any cancellations or give any refunds. However you can reschedule the game for another time by giving us at least 7 days notice before your booking is due to take place. For reschedules please contact us by email at info@escaperooms.co.uk

You are welcome to bring extra people to join your game as long as the total number of players does not exceed the capacity for the room you have booked.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your booked session for your briefing and introduction.

We can accommodate up to 13 players at our London Bridge venue, at any one time across both games. For larger groups we would recommend booking consecutive time slots and splitting into smaller teams accordingly. Our venue is close to a good selection of pubs, bars and restaurants where teams can relax whilst waiting for their turn to play. We also have hotels offering conference and meeting room facilities within a 5 minute walk.

Each session takes up to a maximum of 90 minutes including an introduction and team photos.

Please email us at info@escaperooms.co.uk for large group bookings.

No food or drinks are allowed to be taken into the room other than bottles of water where required. No alcohol is allowed on site. If any team member is under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will be turned away and no refund will be given.

We are sorry that our game rooms are not suitable for wheelchair users.

No photos or videos are allowed to be taken inside our rooms. Please also do not reveal any of the tricks, puzzles or solutions to your friends or family or the public as they may wish to play in the future and it will spoil it for them.
